As you know, our Chairman KV Kumar has been a member of the National Advisory Council of the U.S. Small Business Administration. KV has added another feather to his cap. In recognition of his contributions to the Small Business Administration, KV was appointed to the Executive Committee of the National Advisory Council.
KV was also unanimously elected as the Chairman of the International Trade Committee of the National Advisory Council. Please note that there are a number of highly credentialed people serving on this committee.
USIACC Board joins me in congratulating KV on this occasion and for his dedication to small business and its owners. In USA, we have over 23 million small businesses, and if one third of these are trained to go global, our deficit in balance of trade ( now over 1.5 trillion dollars) can be controlled. While we need a lot KVs to achieve this, KV is an example of "the difference one person can make".
Once again, congratulations on this well deserved appointment.

Overview: Comprehensive Immigration Reform
President Bush Discussed His Vision For
Comprehensive Immigration Reform. The
five clear objectives of comprehensive
immigration reform are securing our borders,
creating a temporary worker program, making
it easier for employers to verify employment
eligibility and continuing to hold them
to account for the legal status of workers
they hire, dealing with the millions of
illegal immigrants who are already here,
and honoring the great American tradition
of the melting pot.
